For the past couple of weeks I have been uprooting my life and moving it across the country, finally settling into my new home in Utah I have an itch to get in my kitchen and kill some of those cravings I get for sweets while unpacking in the afternoons. One of my favorite flavors is gingerbread so here is a little recipe that helps me curb those cravings and offer up some protein.
MyoFusion Probiotic Series No-Bake Gingerbread Protein Cookies
1/2 cup Natural Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Molasses
1/4 cup Honey
3 Scoops Vanilla MyoFusion Probiotic Series Protein Powder
1 Tablespoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
In a medium sized pot, mix together the peanut butter, molasses, honey, ginger, vanilla and almond. Place over low/medium heat until they melt together, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add protein powder and oats. Mix until blended with a fork. Roll into balls with your hand, flatten them to look like a cookie. Store in the refrigerator.

Makes for a great afternoon snack or pop it your bag as a snack pre or post race. Enjoy!
