Time to ZONE!! When my boyfriend got back from Russia, he had decided to Zone for 6 weeks, along with 3 of his seminar staff friends. I thought to myself, I might as well do it with him, since things are always easier when you have someone to do it with. Especially if you are in the same house. I normally eat zone with my eatology meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (They are all 3 blocks) But my snacks in between and what not were not weighed or measured. So, today it's been one full week of weighing and measuring. I usually stay around 14 blocks a day, but that is something you kind of have to experiment with. You need to find your own prescription, almost with a trial/error process. I did 10-12 blocks a while back and lost to much weight and lost some strength. I started adding more fat and that helped. But now, 14 blocks is the prescription I use. It's enough food to fuel performance and not feel starving. The one thing I did notice last week was being hungry in between. That tends to happen right at first, then you have to tweak your fat intake. After a few days the hunger subsided. Now it's just making sure I have all my snacks weighed, measured and ready to go. And yes, I am measuring my MyoFusion Elite
for post workout also! :) It is quite a daunting process at first but you start to memorize the exact amount of foods, and learn how to eyeball certain things. I have another five weeks of this, but I know I can finish it! All I want when i'm hungry are POWER CRUNCH bars!! But, I'm staying away from all of that. The meals that I get really help with saving time weighing and measuring, especially with vegetables. It should be interesting to see how this effects my performance in the gym. Just got my Mom doing this also, hope she keeps on it too!
Have a great week everyone!!
